Pre Fruit-Filling Fertiliser

Kendon PFF Gold is a concentrated plant food specially formulated to support crops during their most critical growth stages. This advanced formulation contains essential NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium) along with EDTA-chelated trace elements to ensure efficient nutrient uptake and balanced plant development. It is ideal for use from the early growth phase up to the mid cell-division stage of any crop.

Kendon PFF Gold is particularly recommended during bud initiation, bloom and flowering, pollination, early fruit or seed development. Properly managed levels of potassium and nitrogen in this formulation help enhance calcium uptake, promoting stronger plant cell walls and improving overall plant strength and resilience.

Directions and How to Use

  • See label on pack for full directions.
  • Apply immediately as a diluted product after mixing.
  • For best results apply by foliar spraying or overhead irrigation or by fertigation.

Restraints and Cautions

  • Do not store diluted PFF Gold
  • Do not apply to foliage during the hottest time of the day or in hot sunshine
  • Do not apply undiluted PFF Gold
  • Do not mix with incompatible materials. (Eg: Lime Sulphur, Bordeaux (Copper Sulphate) or Anti Scale Oil)
  • If in doubt about compatibility, mix small quantities to test for precipitation

Application Guide

Crop / Situation Rate Critical Comments
COMMERCIAL
Fruit & Vegetable Crops		 5L per 1000L of water applied over Ha To achieve optimal results in boosting Brix levels, apply PFF Gold on a weekly basis.
Alternatively, if applying every 2-3 weeks, do so when the leaf sap Brix falls below 12%.
Sports Fields & Turf 20L per 1000L of water applied over Ha For best results, apply fortnightly or as required during the growing season.
Ornamentals, Glasshouses or Indoor Plants 5ml to 1L water Firstly, water plants, then apply diluted PFF Gold to foliage.
Apply fortnightly, using approximately 1L of mixture per square meter, from watering can.
For optimal results in increasing Brix levels, we recommend applying PFF Gold on a weekly basis.
Continue until fruit starts to develop and flowers emerge from bud.

Kendon PFF Gold is a concentrated plant food containing NPK and EDTA-chelated trace elements, formulated to support crops from bud initiation through to mid cell-division.
PFF Gold fertiliser is recommended during critical early growth stages—from bud formation, through bloom and pollination, up to the mid cell-division stage.
PFF Gold's balanced potassium and nitrogen formula enhances calcium uptake, strengthening cell walls and improving overall plant resilience, bud uniformity, and bloom energy while other macro and micro nutrients are readily available for other physiological activities of the plant.
Maintaining the right K-to-Ca ratio is essential for healthy cell development and cold resistance. Excess K, especially in early spring, can block Ca uptake and affect next season’s fruit size. PFF Gold is specially formulated to support Calcium absorption through the xylem while managing Potassium levels and providing other important macro and micro nutrients.
PFF Gold and Kendon High K are designed with different nutrient profiles—especially in Potassium content—to support key stages/ Critical Points of Influence of the plant growth cycle.
  • PFF Gold is ideal for the early vegetative phase, including bud initiation, and remains effective through to the mid-reproductive stage, covering bloom pollination, and early cell division.
  • Kendon High K is formulated for the later reproductive stages, supporting active cell division, and balance vegetative stages of fruit development, ripening, and the postharvest senescence phase.
Used together at the right stages, these products provide targeted nutrition to optimize growth, fruit quality, and overall plant resilience.
For best results, apply PFF Gold by foliar spray, overhead irrigation or fertigation. Always dilute before use, and avoid applying during hot, sunny periods.
No—do not mix PFF Gold pre fruit filling fertiliser with lime sulphur, Bordeaux mix, or anti-scale oils. If compatibility is uncertain, conduct a small precipitation test before full-scale.
