What is Kendocide Algicide used for?

Kendocide Algicide is used to remove unwanted liverwort, algae and moss from synthetic courts, pavements, lawns and pots. It is suitable for use on propagating bench sand, brickwork and concrete paths, plant pots and seed boxes, pot plant and seedling box soil surfaces, pruning tools, lawns, synthetic grass tennis courts, bowling greens, and granular surfaced tennis courts such as En Tout Cas, granitic sand and gravel.
Kendocide Algicide contains 423g/L Dichlorophen, present as the sodium salt.

No. When applying to sand surfaces of propagating benches, do not apply to growing plants. When treating soil surfaces of pot plants and seedling boxes, or when treating liverwort in pots and plant nurseries, apply cautiously to plants of the legume family, orchids and aquatic plants, and test on a small batch of plants first if in doubt of suitability.
When treating algae on the soil surfaces of pot plants and seedling boxes, water over the affected area when algae appears, not more frequently than twice per month.
Yes. Apply to affected areas in dry weather. On synthetic grass tennis courts and bowling greens, remove dead growth with a stiff yard broom and redress the court with new sand. On granular surfaced courts such as En Tout Cas, granitic sand and gravel, dead growth is removed with a court drag mat. A second application may be required if rain occurs soon after application, or due to leaching from regular watering.
Kendocide Algicide causes severe burns and eye damage, and causes serious eye damage. It is harmful if swallowed, may be corrosive to metals, and is toxic to aquatic life, including toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
