Grafting Mastic is a specialised plant wound sealant formulated to protect grafts, pruning cuts, and damaged plant tissues. It creates a protective barrier that helps prevent infection, minimize water loss, and guard against pests and environmental stress, promoting faster healing and improved graft success. Kendon offers two types of Grafting Mastic, each suited for different conditions.

DO NOT heat. Upon completion of the graft, cincture etc., thoroughly seal all cut edges of the graft or binding material with Grafting Mastic BZ to ensure complete exclusion of air and moisture. Do not use excessive quantities, otherwise results may be impaired. Always replace lid after use. |

Warm (DO NOT melt) Grafting Mastic H in a water bath until pliable. Do not heat excessively as it will become too thin and impair results. Upon completion of the graft, cincture etc., thoroughly seal all cut edges of the graft or binding material with Grafting Mastic H while still warm, using a brush or working the product in the hands, to ensure complete exclusion of air and moisture. Do not use excessive quantities, otherwise results may be impaired. Always replace lid after use. |
