Kendon Escar-go controls snails through direct contact with their soft body tissues, particularly the foot, which is used for movement.

When snails crawl over an Escar-go treated surface, the copper ions disrupt the normal function of the mucus layer on the foot, causing irritation, dehydration, and difficulty moving.

As the ions are absorbed through the moist tissues, they interfere with essential enzymes and cellular processes, ultimately leading to metabolic failure.
