Profile
- Dicamba is absorbed through leaves and roots, translocated throughout the plant via both the symplast and apoplast
- Mimics natural plant hormones (auxins), causing uncontrolled growth in broadleaf weeds, leading to cell disruption and plant death
- Effective against deep-rooted and hard-to-kill perennial broadleaf weeds
- MCPA is absorbed by leaves and roots, translocated acropetally and basipetally in the phloem and xylem accumulating in the meristematic regions
- It disrupts normal auxin balance, leading to uncontrolled growth and abnormal cell division
