This weekend on 5 October we took photos of two healthy vineyards, 10km apart.
Vineyard 1 we know used Kendon High K and calcium as a foliar fertiliser twice – post-harvest and pre-senescence. Then prior to budding this year, applied Kendon PFF Gold once via fertigation then twice by foliar spray when the leaves appeared. Flowering will commence in the next 2 weeks.

Vineyard 2 growth is up to 4 weeks behind Vineyard 1. We do not know the plant management of this vineyard.

Conclusion
Grapes are consistently picked from Vineyard 1 up to 4 weeks earlier than Vineyard 2, potentially eliminating early frost damage, Autumn rain and fungal issues. Curious to know more? Ring Chali or Chris from Kendon on 03 9497 2822 to find out about the secrets of Vineyard 1.
Order Kendon PFF Gold and Kendon High K from your trusted Kendon stockist.
Its not too late to get your vines off to an explosive start and to achieve their genetic potential this season.
